Old hands, but still with plenty to learn
2ND SEPTEMBER 2010: NICK Griffin has started his second year as a Member of the European Parliament with a week in Brussels preparing for his Environment, Public Health and Food Safety (ENVI) committee and his Industry, Research and Energy (ITRE) committee, as well as the busy European Parliament schedule.
There are already hundreds of votes and amendments for the first Plenary Session in Strasbourg next week and Nick's advisers are busy working on briefing papers to guide him how to vote.
"Andrew Brons and I have delegated the 22 committees amongst both our teams which will help take the pressure of us during the week of voting.
"Each adviser will have time to examine the resolutions and amendments on the votes from their committees and then provide advice on how the interests of the British people and British nationalism can best be served.
"Andrew and I have learnt a lot in our first year, and hopefully this will benefit us over the next 12 months - but, of course, there's nothing like gaining experience and that can only come by getting on with the job at hand."
